The New Zealand Down Syndrome Association (NZDSA) is hosting a virtual conference to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month with the central theme 'With Us Not For Us'.

When: Tuesday 3 October to Saturday 21 October, sessions at 12.00–1.00 pm or 7.00–8.00 pm

Cost: free to everyone

Joining NZDSA virtual conference sessions

There are two types of sessions.

  1. You need to register for – scroll down to see the details for each session on the NZDSA programme page.
  2. You can join directly – scroll down to the sessions with 'Join Zoom meeting' on the NZDSA programme page.


The programme has a range of topics with something for all ages. A key theme for the conference is supported decision-making aligning with Down Syndrome International's campaign calling for the recognition of the right to legal capacity for people with Down syndrome.
