Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People are advertising for a Tuuhono / Connector to join the Enabling Good Lives (EGL) Waikato team.

As Tuuhono/Connector you will be responsible for working directly with disabled children, adults and their families and whaanau to assist them in achieving good life outcomes.  The key to sustainable outcomes in this role will be your ability to listen to the aspirations and preferences of disabled people and their whaanau assisting them to think about the options they have at the moment and what they could do that is new and different.

As the connection to the community for the organisation, you are able to call on your influencing ability to build and maintain working relationships with disability networks, families, whanau, hapu and iwi as well as stakeholders and the wider community.
