Whaikaha – Ministry of Disabled People is advertising for a Senior Analyst reporting to the Manager, Quality Team, within the Strategy, Policy and Partnership Group.
Whaikaha are looking for someone to undertake analysis and insight development about the quality of the disability support system and work with the disability community to ensure analysis and insights are useful and accessible. The work will inform decision-making and contribute to the design of improvements across Whaikaha and the disability support system.
The Senior Analyst will need problem-solving skills and the ability to succinctly summarise findings into useful and accessible outputs to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences, which could include:
- the disability community, disabled people and their whānau
- providers of disability services and other disability sector organisations
- Whaikaha staff
- other government agencies.
To undertake this role successfully the person will be a disabled person, or have credibility and trust with the disability community, or a commitment to understanding the unique and diverse experiences of disabled people.
