The Department of Corrections are advertising for a Lead Advisor, Disability.
In this role, you will work closely with the DCE Health for Corrections, and will lead the implementation and delivery of the Disability Action Plan for Corrections, which seeks to improve the wellbeing of disabled people that they manage.
You will also work closely with the Disability sector and other Government agencies to ensure Corrections are up to date with government sector disability planning, outcomes, and goals. This will include managing relationships at an executive and senior leadership level.
Lived experience of disability is valued by Corrections, and this would be welcomed alongside the listed knowledge, experiences and attributes.
