Whaikaha, Ministry of Disabled People is advertising for a number of positions.

Whaikaha welcomes applications from disabled people, or those who have a lived experience of disability through whānau or community involvement. Currently, just under 40 percent of Whaikaha kaimahi identify as disabled people and the Ministry want this number to grow.

Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant will support the Group Manager Enabling Good lives and their teams.

Principal Analyst Transformation

The Principal Analyst Transformation will provide strategic leadership and help oversee the implementation activity that supports disabled people to have more agency and choice in building the lives they seek. 

Programme Lead Pacific Peoples

The Programme Lead, Pacific Peoples will provide strategic analysis and advice to enable good lives for Pacific disabled people.

Programme Lead Disability Sector Workforce

The Programme Lead, Disability Sector Workforce will provide strategic analysis and advice on issues relating to the workforce that supports disabled people and tāngata whaikaha Māori.

Advisor Partnerships and Voice

The Advisor Partnerships and Voice will work in close partnership with the disability sector and Government agencies on the provision of high-quality information and advice on issues affecting disabled people.
