The Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAll) is holding a series of events around the country where people from diverse backgrounds come together to share their thoughts and aspirations for the economy.
Recently DPA Research and Development Advisor Angela Desmarais took part in one of these events, “Economy for Public Good”, with discussion led by WEAll’s Aotearoa Lead Gareth Hughes. Angela highlighted the systemic barriers that disabled people experience and shared insights from the disabled community.
The findings will be presented to politicians at the WEAll Economy for Public Good Conference on 31 August in Auckland.
