Disabled Leadership Now online protest
Following the appointment of a non-disabled director to set up the Ministry for Disabled People, a grassroots collective of disabled people have come together to form Disability Leadership Now to protest the appointment and aiming to ensure disabled people lead the ministry.

Petition
There is also a petition asking the House of Representatives to ensure the Ministry for Disabled people is led and run by disabled people, to ensure disabled people are in leadership roles and their rights are upheld.
