Auckland Council Disability Advisory Panel new 3-year term

Auckland City Council has announced its advisory panel members for its Advisory Panels. It has Advisory Panels for disability, ethnic communities, Pacific peoples, rainbow communities, seniors and youth.

The role of advisory panel members is to offer advice and feedback based on their lived experience - identify issues that are important to disabled people; provide advice on regional strategies, policies and plans; help the council to effectively engage with disabled people.


The Disability Advisory Panel members are:

  • Amy Hogan
  • Barry De Geest
  • Gerard Martin
  • Martine Abel-Williamson
  • Bonnie Robinson
  • Chris Orr
  • Ryan Meechan
  • Sam Smith
  • Toa Te Wheoro.
