The 2023 Election Forum 'Accessible Democracy' is happening in September. The forum will give people interested in advocating for disability rights and inclusion an opportunity to engage with politicians.

The Accessible Democracy forum is a chance for your voice to be heard and to shape the conversation around disability rights in the upcoming elections.
For those who prefer to participate remotely, the event will be livestreamed to ensure everyone can take part, regardless of location.
The event will have sign language interpreters and be live captioned.
This event is hosted by IHC in partnership with Disabled Person's Assembly, Blind Citizens NZ, Complex Care Group, CCS Disability Action, Deaf Aotearoa, New Zealand Disability Support Network, New Zealand Down Syndrome Association, People First NZ, and the Personal Advocacy and Safeguarding Adults Trust.
